Suck Thumb And Carry On was based off this, (reposted to reddit) which I am unable to find a source for. My best guess would be that it came from the forsaken reaches of HWZ. Do tell me if a verified source can be located.
Keep Calm And Carry On, is of course, based off the now public domain propaganda poster from the good ol' UK. It is a tracing of the original poster, and I noticed a few interesting things about it while cleaning up the cheap and ugly live trace of it.
A few things I noticed:
1. It is slightly off-centre.
2. The two Rs in "carry" are different.
3. There is a smiley face at the top of the crown.
4. Avenir looks the most similar to the typeface used, followed by Gill Sans. Avenir was used for Suck Thumb And Carry On.
5. Google is unable to tell me the actual shade of red used in the poster.
6. Illustrator has a very different set of controls compared with Photoshop.
7. Blogger doesn't let me upload .svg files as images.
