Am I alone in thinking that most of these are overdone to blandness? The content itself is strong; that's (usually) why it's up on WikiQuotes. When you slap your designer dickbag over the quote and lather it with your AIDS-infested ejaculate of a style, the spirit of the content is more than often not, lost.
There is no reason to have awfully-done tumblrcore wankery all over the type unless the context or copy calls for it. An appropriate typeface choice, pairing, decent visual hierarchy and all-around attention to detail would work better for most I've seen in this thread.
